Quality Assurance System
At Umehara Model, we have established a temperature-controlled room in our Quality Control Department, maintaining an environment of 20°C ±1°C for 24 hours, enabling us to respond to prototype inquiries requiring precision in recent years. We work closely with the Manufacturing Department to ensure thorough self-checks by manufacturing personnel, in-process inspections, and instructions for intermediate inspections. We are committed daily to manufacturing that meets the specifications required by our customers.

Dedicated inspectors perform inspections on all products using various measuring instruments. We attach inspection reports to products after inspections are completed. While sampling inspection is standard, we also accommodate full inspections. We deliver products that have passed each process to our customers.
Dimensional Inspection
We measure dimensions based on the drawings.
We use calipers and gauges to measure distances and diameters.
We also measure Ra and Rz with a surface roughness tester.

We can also perform multi-faceted hole-pitch measurement using a 3D coordinate measuring machine.

Visual Inspection
We verify that the product’s shape matches your specifications,
and check for any defects such as burrs, scratches, or damage.
We check the product for burrs, scratches, and any damage.

If no drawings are available, we verify the shape using 3D data.
